March Chapter Updates

The first chapter meeting of 2018 took place on February 27^th. The topic was “Common Problems on P&C Market Conduct Exams” and there were 34 people in attendance. The speaker was Margaret Paris from American National and she did an exceptional job!

The next chapter meeting will be in April and an invitation will be sent within the next couple of weeks with the topic and exact date. We are also planning chapter meetings for June, September and November with topics and dates to be determined. In addition, our chapter will have a booth at Albany I-Day on April 25^th and also participate in the Capital District Insurance Community Holiday Luncheon in December. We arranged for discounted group tickets for the following sporting events with a total of 105 tickets sold!
- Union vs. RPI ice hockey game at the Times Union Center on January 27^th
- Siena vs. Manhattan basketball game at the Times Union Center on February 2^nd

We are also looking into organizing group tickets for an Albany Empire arena football game at the Times Union Center and for a Tri-City Valley Cats baseball game at Joe Bruno Stadium. In addition, planning is underway for an informal happy hour networking event.
